Carbon Negative Rum

Two Drifters Distillery is the creation of Russ and Gemma Wakeham who love rum, science, Devon and the planet. We ferment 100% molasses and distil it in our bespoke warehouse near Exeter Airport.

Having spent many years working on carbon capture and utilisation technologies, we do everything we can to minimise the amount of CO2 we create, and where it is created, we offset it. That's why we're the first Rum distillery in the world to be carbon negative.

From the start, it was important to us that we were in control of every aspect of the production. What sugar we choose, what yeast we use, how long we ferment for, how we distil, flavour and package and so we can say with absolute certainty and pride that our British rum is MADE IN DEVON.

We have designed our distillery around our CO2 emissions, from the equipment we use to how we power them, we produce zero emissions when making our rum.
